Jun 19, 2009· I recently jacked up my car to check an axle code at the rear axle, and since I was at my grandparent's house, I asked my grandpa if he had a jack. He got one and then placed the jack under the axle and started jacking it up before I could say anything. So the car was jacked up by the rear axle for a short while. I was kinda mad because I don't think that's the proper way of doing it.
